CARE AND MAINTENANCE

1. Regular Cleaning

Clean the floor regularly with a vacuum cleaner or a soft broom to prevent residual dust and grit from fraying the floor surface.

Once stain on the floor, immediately wipe it with a wrung rag. The longer the stain stays, the harder it is to clean.

Please clean up the residual moisture after cleaning the floor. If any liquid leaks to the floor, it should be cleaned up in time.

The StepGuard flooring has a very hard surface, which means you don't need to clean the floor frequently with the wet mop to avoid a wearing towards to the floor.It will be just fine with a regular clean.

2. Floor Protection

Please lay carpet on the floor area where frequency walked on.

Place a door mat at the door to prevent debris such as gravel from entering the room.

Please put a light colored floor protection pad under the feet of the table and chairs.And do not use dyed protective pads.

Try to avoid damage on the surface of the floor and walk on the floor wearing stilettos.

Please put a protective pad under the wheel of the chair.

Please put a protective plate under the flower pot.

Do not drag heavy objects on the floor to avoid scratches.

Please use the floor protection pad and the feet/casters to reduce the impact of heavy objects on the floor when the furniture touches the ground in a large area.

3. Waterproof Measures

Use a wet mop to clean the floor as needed.and a wax-free or oil-free cleaner was  recommended.

Rain for a long time is prohibited ,which may damage the floor,thus be careful with the opening window.

4. Others

Do not use abrasive cleaners, bleach or wax to maintain the floor.

Do not use abrasives as they may affect gloss.
